Every manufacture has their own definition of value, but safety and convenience are always high priorities. The Chevrolet Trax delivers on both fronts while bolstering its value with a comfortable interior, sporty style, and a humble price tag. The subcompact SUV’s small frame makes it remarkably easy to park in close quarters, and its variety of technology options promise to keep even the longest trips entertaining.
If you would like to learn more about the Trax, come take a closer look here at Jay Hodge Chevrolet Cadillac of Muskogee. When you visit our dealership, our team of Chevy experts would be happy to speak with you about all that this subcompact SUV can do, and you are more than welcome to hop in the driver’s seat for a test drive.
The 2021 Trax has earned excellent safety ratings, and Chevrolet reinforces their careful design with modern driver assistance systems. The SUV comes standard with a rearview camera, while other available safety options include blind spot monitoring and more. Chevy also offers a range of packages to upgrade the Trax, like the Convenience bundle which features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and more. In the Premium Seat package, you’ll find heated front-row seating along with leatherette upholstery. If you choose the Trax LT trim, the SUV will feature cruise control, remote start, and heated exterior mirrors.
Chevrolet first announced the Trax at the 2012 Pars Motor Show with the intent to release it into markets across the globe. It was demonstrated the following year at the Montreal Auto Show, where critics were treated to test drives and a closer look. The Trax arrived on roadways around the world in 2013, finding a receptive audience in nations like Mexico, Germany, and Australia. It was known as the Tracker in Russia and South America, and the Holden Trax when released Down Under.
The Trax made its North American debut in 2015, and it arrived with several upgrades since the international release. The domestic Trax hit the road with satellite radio and other convenient amenities, and it quickly earned the attention of drivers seeking a well-rounded SUV for an affordable price. The subcompact received a style refresh in 2017, now sporting a more streamlined profile as well as some design notes from Chevy’s Volt and Malibu. Chevrolet has continued to update the Trax each year, and it has become a popular, economical choice both in the U.S. and abroad.
