It’s common for Chevrolet vehicles to get updates and upgrades from year to year. The same is true for the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse model. This year, there is a new steering wheel for the LT trim. In addition, there are two new colors available. These are sterling gray metallic and radiant red tintcoat. Also, a shift knob is standard on most trims; only the base model, the LS, won’t have this new feature. The front and the rear fascia of the Traverse have some revisions and stylistic changes, making the appearance more modern. Lastly, LED headlights are now standard with the Traverse.
Chevrolet introduced the Traverse in 2009 to combine the roles of the outbound TrailBlazer SUV and Outlander minivan. It represented a departure from the TrailBlazer’s truck-based frame, sporting a crossover design that coincided with the growing demand for catch-all SUVs. The Traverse entered its second generation just a few years later, sporting updated technology and a potent new engine.
In 2018, Chevy redesigned the Traverse with a smooth, contemporary style and a bevy of modern features for safety, convenience, and onboard amusement. It also runs on a hearty powertrain that promises all the energy and performance that drivers expect from Chevrolet.
