For 2024 the Chevrolet Trax debuts a new design that takes several styling cues from the larger Chevy Blazer. It has a wider body with a lower, more athletic stance and a muscular profile. Its larger hexagonal patterned mesh grille highlights the new width of the vehicle. It has newly designed Blazer inspired LED headlamps, available 19-inch wheels, and eight unique exterior color options that include:
Inside the 2024 Trax, the driver-oriented cabin is dominated by two large displays positioned on the dashboard so that they are right at the driver’s fingertips. The interior has two distinctive designs depending on the trim level. The Trax ACTIV has unique interior accents with contrasting trim that is Yellow against Jet Black upholstery or Artemis Yellow against Jet Black upholstery. The 2RS has a sportier design with racy RED interior accents on the wheel and the upholstery.
The 2024 Trax seats five people in cushy, supportive seats and has plenty of head, leg, and hip room in both rows so adults and children feel comfortable in the rear seats. If you regularly have child passengers, you will be happy to know the Trax has two LATCH connectors on the rear outboard seats and an anchor tether in the middle seat.
Other interior features to get excited about include available heated front seats, available wrapped and heated steering wheel, and heated outside mirrors, standard automatic climate control and standard push-button start.
The 2024 Chevrolet Trax has plenty of cargo space with 25.6 cubic feet of space behind the second row and 52.1 cubic feet of space when the second-row seats are folded flat.
Under the hood, the Chevy Trax has a 137-horsepower 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that makes 162 pound-feet of torque. The engine is married to a slick six-speed automatic transmission. Front wheel drive is standard.
