Powerful Performance Aspects

The Colorado ZR2 Bison features the same powerful 2.7-liter turbocharged inline-four engine as the ZR2, delivering 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque along with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Bison is about 1.5 inches longer than the ZR2, offering an extra 1.5 inches of ground clearance for a total of 12.2 inches. While the Bison’s maximum payload is slightly lower at 1,050 pounds compared to the ZR2’s 1,280 pounds, it still has a max trailering capacity of 5,500 pounds. Both the Bison and the ZR2 are equipped with Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions Spool Valve dampers, and the Bison also includes Multimatic Jounce Control dampers in both the front and rear.
